Real Madrid - Arsenal FC, Just As Important To Politicians As It Is To Us
Tuesday, February 21, 2006
It is probably the biggest game Arsenal FC have ever played under Arsene Wenger. It has been the most anticipated match of the Champions League Knock-Out Round, but its bigger than we may think.
Its not only a big deal in football, but everyone, including politicians will have an eye on this match as the last time an English team played it Spain it was a scene of disqust. Spain V England, and the black English players suffered from racist abuse. Thats not all, Spain is not a place that Thierry Henry doesn't know about. Spanish coach Aragones made racist comments about him while supposedly hyping-up Jose Antonio Reyes for a friendly. Though, it may not be all bad it Spain as Henry looks likely to head to Barcelona if you decides that he doesn't want to continue to play for Arsenal.
This match is expected to be so brutal that is has been designated 'high risk' by Spain's national anti-violence commission.
