Difficult Times At Highbury

We as supporters of Arsenal didnt want our final season at Highbury to be like this and it appears that Arsene agrees.
Wenger admits that this current situation is the worst he has been in since his first season in charge. Arsenal are not only out of the race for the title after slipping 25 points behind Chelsea but are also in a position that may see them not qualify for next seasons Champions League. Wenger also admits that the exit of Patrick Vieira has not helped matters. But he is quick to say that it is not the main reason for their bad results. Instead, the says that the players were bonbarded with injuries and were low in confidence early in the season. He also said that the young squad is also a difficulty.
"I've never known such a period at Arsenal, apart from maybe my first year here 10 years ago when we were fifth or sixth in January," said Wenger to the News of the World.
