"It was the winter holiday and I was back in Togo having a kickabout with friends when my phone rang. One of the boys answered it and said, 'Manu, it's Arsene for you'. 'Arsene who?' I said. 'Arsene Wenger', he said. 'Get out of it', I said, and grabbed the phone off him. But then I heard the voice. 'Allo'. F*****g hell. It is Arsene Wenger!"
-Emmanuel Adebayor

The Good: Lehmann, The Bad: Arsenal, The Ugly: Henry

It has not been the greatest of seasons for Arsenal. From the team that went a whole season unbeaten(W26, D12) to a side that is fighting for a champions league spot....against sp*rs!

Im sure 90% of us Arsenal fans without lives have been thinking of the 3 W's:
What
Went
Wrong?
With that i introduce The Good, The Bad And The Ugly of this season.

The Good:
Jens Lehmann was known as the mad German that thinks he is a striker in the past. But this season he has turned into a captain. He leads teenage defenders and midfielders out every match, becoming a fifth defender most of the time. Some great saves kept us from losing games that we really should have lost. His clean sheat record this season speaks for itself. He has often been the reason why Arsene doesnt mind putting teenages in the defence. The penalty save against Gerard this week is just one of the great saves he has made this season. But its not just the EPL, he has saved us in Europe too when the so-called-stars of the team dont do what they are paid to do.

The Bad:
Arsenal. Simple as that. We have been horrible this season. Some say its the youngsters, some say its the strikers, some say its Wenger, ive even heard Pat Rice's name mentioned once or twice but the main thing is the fact that we are out of The FA Cup, out of The Carling Cup, fifth in The EPL and most of us are expecting Arsenal to be whipped by Real next week. It has really been a combination of inexperience, injuries and under-preforming players. Dont get me wrong, players like Fabregas, Flamini, Seb Larsson and Van Persie have all been great this season. The new signings, Adebayor, Diaby and Walcott have been great in their own ways. It is the seniors that have maybe EXPECTED this season to be an easy one. All in all, this has probably been the worse season in Arsenal's recent history.

The Ugly:
A lot may disagree but Thierry Henry's irritating attitude this season has got to be the worst part of the season. I know ill be getting hate mail and probably some death threats for this but i have to say this, Wenger wated to know the reason why Arsenal players are so low on morale? Look no further, he is the problem. First, he decides that he doesnt want to sign a new contract until the end of the season. Then, he says that the fans are keeping him at the club...but still doesnt sign a deal. After that, he said that he wants the club to match his sporting ambition. That either means he wants Arsenal to do a Liverpool or he needs new sporting gear....you decide! And new romours say that he has asked Cesc Fabregas to teach him Catalan. Now, I would have let it all go if he scores on a regular basis, but he doesnt...infact, he doesnt even look like he cares....he just asks for the ball, and if it isnt delivered right to his expensive boot, he moans, shouts and irritates. What happened to the Henry that topped the assist charts? What happened to the Henry that scored the famous 'Catch Me If You Can' goal? What happened to the Henry that chased balls? What happened to Henry? Is one part of him already in Spain? One things for sure, if he really wants to leave, let us have a fresh start at Ashburton and leave this summer!
