"It was the winter holiday and I was back in Togo having a kickabout with friends when my phone rang. One of the boys answered it and said, 'Manu, it's Arsene for you'. 'Arsene who?' I said. 'Arsene Wenger', he said. 'Get out of it', I said, and grabbed the phone off him. But then I heard the voice. 'Allo'. F*****g hell. It is Arsene Wenger!"

Chelsea May Exploit Close Buyout Clause... Cesc And Eboue Injured

Obviously the main story is Arsenal's 5-0 win against Villa. Arsene Wenger was happy with the result but it comes with bad news as Fabregas and Eboue have are both injured and are 50/50 for the match against Juve at Turin on Wednesday. Cesc's foot is said to have blown up(not exploded!).

News have come out that there is a buyout clause in Ashley Cole's contract that will allow him to leave the club for 16million pounds. Arsenal are said to have agreed to this clause as they saw it as a suitable fee if the player was to leave for Real Madrid. But Cole's injuries that have kept him sidelined caused a decrease of interest from Spain. This has attracted the attention of Jose Mourinho's Chelsea. Chelsea were found guilty of 'tapping-up' Ashley Cole last season. This though has not influenced Chelsea's interest in Arsenal's home-grown talent. It is said that Chelsea are prepared to pay the 16million pounds for Ashley.

Ledley King says that everyone at Sp*rs are praying Arsenal will be eliminated by Juventus on Wednesday. If Arsenal win the Champions League but fail to get the 4th Champions League spot, the club which does[Sp*rs/Rovers/Bolton] will be relegated to the UEFA Cup to make way for Arsenal. All I can say is, you[Ledley] obviously are not on good term with The Boss as Arsenal have a good advantage to take to Turin and after Sp*rs 3-1 loss to Newcastle Arsenal can leap-frog Sp*rs after playing their game-in-hand.

Jens Lehmann believes Chelsea play artificial football. He explains that Chelsea huge pockets have resulted infans to getting involved with the team. "Our way of working is clearly more attractive," Lehmann explained. "Fans struggle to identify with Chelsea. They are a sort of artificial product.

"Their way of doing things works but they don't play such attractive football. At Arsenal, in that sense, we are a step ahead of them."
