Worldfootballers have released an article that states that Massimo Moratti is about to break the bank in an attempt to lure Thierry Henry to Italy. Inter Milan is currently the dark horses in the race to sign the french talisman from Arsenal.
With Barcelona the favourite to sign Henry, and Real looking for a possible replacement for Ronaldo, who is most probably going to leave the club, Inter looked like the least likely of the three that Henry would sign for...until now.
Unlike Barcelona and Real Madrid who are offering success to the player, Inter are about to offer the club, Arsenal, £25 million of their £150 million thats coming from Inter's TV deal with Mediaset. Henry's contract ends in 12 months and the last thing Arsenal will want to do is let him go for free.
First, it was said that Emirates had a problem with the Arsenal-Israel tourism deal, then Arsenal stated that they had consulted Emirates Airlines before making the deal. Now, the Palestine Solidarity Campaign wants to stop the deal...[link taken down]
