Lehmann & Pires Contract Updates

Jens Lehmann has agreed to a new 1-year contract at Arsenal but is yet to sign it.
Arsene Wenger revealed that Arsenal's offer had been accepted: “We will extend his contract for one year,” said Wenger . “It has not been signed but it has been agreed.”
Lehmann has been Arsenal's form player this season, and eventhough he has has a few temper problems, he has managed to keep ahead of Almunia in the Arsenal goal.
Robert Pires conformed that Arsenal have offered him a 1-year deal, but also said that he has not dedided yet wheather to sign it or not.
Pires wanted a longer deal, but Arsenal's policy of only offering one year contracts to players above the age of 30 has left him with a conundrum. A few clubs are also chasing Pures, so he will probably take his time in before signing for any club.
