Mysery Invester Buys £3.5M Worth Of Arsenal Shares

The Times have reported that a mysterious investor has bought £3.5m worth of Arsenal shares. The shares were sold at £5000 each, the highest in 18 months. They go on to state that the investor may be a company called Lansdowne Partners. A company known to buy shares of companies before takeovers. Lansdowne Partners did also buy shares in Man Utd before Malcolm Glazer's takeover. Time to call Arsenal Trust.
Robin Van Persie says that this is his season to step-up and he says that Arsene agrees with him. I actually think he was suppose to make the step-up last season, in preparation of Bergi's departure and he did make the step-up in true Arsenal fashion. He never scored an ugly goal, I will never forget that goal against Blackburn. The occasional kicking-of-air is just a minor setback to a players with lots of potential.
Kolo Toure says that the reason why Arsenal did so well last season in the Champions League was because of team spirit, togetherness and that the senior players dont mind taking advice from the youngsters. It actually sounds like the players are turning into Arsenal's PR. This comments coming just over a week after Ashley Cole said that there was no atmosphere at Arsenal and that the players didnt socialise with each other.
And Arsene Wenger says no matter when he retires, he will always feel that he didnt finish his job at Arsenal, even if we won 3 Champions League titles. The taste of the CL final loss last season is still a little bitter in his mouth though, just as bitter as it is in all our mouths. He said that lack of experience was the reason that we lost eventhough the players gave 110%.
